RV Lance
The Norwegian Polar Institute and cooperating institutions currently use Lance as a research and expedition vessel.
She operates primarily in the Arctic, but has also been used for Antarctic expeditions. Lance’s present home base is Tromsø, Norway. During the summer season she will normally operate out of Longyearbyen, Svalbard.
