Norwegian Polar Institute in the south

In Antarctica, the institute runs the research station Troll and the Tor field station in Dronning Maud Land, and have and office in Cape Town to ease the logistic support for the operations in the south. In the Norwegian sector of Antarctica, the institute has administrative authority. This means that anyone who plan activity there should contact the Norwegian Polar Institute in advance.
