Abstract
Joining the 53rd conference of the Photogrammetric Week gave an overview of the latest development in aerial surveying techniques, like aerial cameras, LIDAR instruments, processing algorithms etc. This presentation gives a brief introduction to some of the most exciting news, and will focus mainly on the evolution of digital aerial frame cameras, DTM/DSM matching techniques as well as comparing LIDAR based DSM/DTM data with the most recent matching techniques from optical images.
