Services
The Norwegian Polar Institute offers a variety of services. We have an extensive photo library, which together with our library is located in the Fram Centre in Tromsø and are open to the public. Our operations and logistics department have warehouse space and offices to let in Svalbard, as well as the research vessel Lance for cruises and expeditions. The Polar Institute also offers courses equipment in connection with field work.

Logistics
The Norwegian Polar Institute has extensive experience with large operations in harsh and challenging conditions domestically and abroad. The Institute also offers its services to others, including freight or rental of equipment, rental of our research vessel Lance and facilities for visiting researchers.
