Geological maps of Svalbard
The Norwegian Polar Institute is responsible for mapping the Norwegian polar areas. Geological map covers the geological conditions.
Most of these maps are provided as thematic maps. Some of the older ones were published in the Norwegian Polar Institute's Skrifter. All these maps can be purchased directly from the institute.
The maps that cost 160 NOK has an added map description. The price of 240 NOK means that there are two maps that are supplied with the description. But all maps can also be purchased individually and without any description for 80 NOK. Please specify when ordering whether you want the map without description and if you want it folded or plano.
This map series is completed gradually.
