Contaminant exposure and time trends in killer whales from Norway
Killer whales are among the most polluted animals of the Arctic with levels exceeding those in polar bears. This project aims at monitoring the North East Atlantic killer whale population with respect to legacy compounds, such as PCBs and a range of pesticides as well as novel compounds such as brominated and fluorinated compounds.
