The Norwegian Ministry of the Environment asks NP to lead two working groups
with the purpose of developing proposals for research on:

Proposal for the transport and fate-programme delivered to the Ministry of
Environment
24.3.97
Proposal for the effect-programme delivered to the Ministry of Environment
28.4.97
The Ministry asks NP to co-ordinate further work on the programmes and make
an application with a proposed budget and schedule with two phases.
30.5.97
NP sends the application to The Ministry of Environment and to The Ministry
of Foreign Affairs. Total budget in the application: 19 mill. NoK for the
Transport-programme and 18,3 for the Effects programme
12.2.98
Reply from The Ministry of Environment with an allocation of 1,8 mill. NoK to
the Transport-programme and 1,6 mill. NoK to the Effects programme. The letter also
contains conditions on the use of money and organisation of the programmes.
23.2.98
Reply from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs with an allocation of 4,2 mill.
NoK to the Transport-programme and 3,4 mill. NoK to the Effects programme.
