Norway in SCAR

The Norwegian membership in the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) is managed by the Norwegian Polar Institute. The Institute coordinates national work on strategies, through regular meetings with representatives, sharing of communications, and annual reporting to SCAR.

Norwegian representatives in SCAR

The Norwegian representatives in the working groups should represent the breadth of the Norwegian Antarctic research environment. The Director of the Norwegian Polar Institute is the Norwegian SCAR Delegate. The Director is also in charge of appointing the Norwegian SCAR representatives.
